Bio

Shri Pradyot was born and brought up in Khargpur.  

He is a born devotee of Music who chose Tabla for weaving his dreams around and thus has achieved excellence and found a place among the niche of musicians. 

He started his training at a tender age of seven under Shri Sadananda Gharai who is a disciple of the noted Chandravan of SRA. 

Shri Pal got trained for ten years under Shri Sadananda Gharai then he took refuge under the disciple of Joylal Mishra, Lalji Srivastav and Channu Ganguly named Lt. Shri Sudhir Kumar Roy. 

Shri Pal took his Sangeet Prabhakar degree from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, Sangeet Visharad degree from Pracheen Kala Kendra Chandigarh, Sangeet Upadhya title from Trailokya Sangeet Parishad. 

Shri Pradyot Pal is a regular B-high artist of Akashvani. 

He has been a performing artist and an accompanist in classical music at various prestigious platforms like the Tansen Sangeet Sammelan, The Vasant Utsav 2013 organised by Prasar Bharati, the National Programme of Prasar Bharati, at IIT Kharagpur Convocations and many other concerts and programmes in Kolkata, Kharagpur, Mumbai, Bangalore. 

 Shri Pradyot Pal has been into teaching for more than thirty years. He runs a school in Kharagpur. He has also worked in collaboration in arranging music.
